Second Training Workshop at AROUCA, Portugal – 19th to 23rd February 2018

 

A training workshop of the “LEADER Program Management” course, under the TELI2 project – Transnational Education in LEADER Implementation2 – took place from 19th to 23th February 2018, in Portugal, Arouca, hosted by ADRIMAG LAG. 17 students from Ireland, Croatia, Slovenia, Portugal and Romania and 2 lecturers from the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia, and the LIT – Limerick Institute of Technology, Ireland, visited ADRIMAG’s area of operation and some of the projects supported by ADRIMAG, under the LEADER approach and currently CLLD.

On the first day of the course, Luis Chaves, coordinator of the “Minha Terra” Federation, the Portuguese network of LAG’s, provided a presentation which focused on the role and work of the Federation, the evolution of the LEADER program to the current CLLD, and the main concerns and aspirations for the territories homes in Portugal. Workshop in Poland

The third training workshops took place on 16th-20th of April 2018 on areas of the LAG “Gościniec 4 Żywiołów” (“Road of 4 Elements”) and the LAG “Dolina Raby” (“Valley of river called Raba”) in Malopolska region of south Poland. The meeting included lectures, workshop classes, individual presentations of student projects, and field visits.

The participants of the TELI2 project stayed on 16th-18th of April 2018 on the LAG “Gościniec 4 Żywiołów” area. Classes took place in the kitchen incubator in Zakrzów. In addition, participants visited the market square in Lanckorona and places supported by LEADER Programme – the Ceramic Studio of Piotr Piaskowski and the Café “Arka” in Lanckorona. One of the project partners in this transnational, Erasmus +  project,  LAG “Zeleni bregi” was host to the meeting held in Stubičke  Toplice.   Project managers from all 6 partner countries participated; Nuno Costa – MONTE (Portugal), Shane O’Sullivan –L.I.T. (Ireland), Toni McCaul – SECAD. (Ireland), Constantin Livadariu – LAG D.C. (Romania), Gabriela Livadariu – LAG D.C. (Romania), Tomislav Lež –LAG  Z.B. (Croatia), Robert Nogić – LAG Z.G. (Croatia),  Irma Potočnik Slavič – U.LJ. (Slovenia) , Rajko Antlej – R.K. (Slovenia), Krzysztof Kwatera – D.R. TELI2 Group completes a very successful week of learning in Cork, Ireland

The TELI2 transnational group commenced their first day of training at South and East Cork Area Development Partnership CLG – SECAD on 9th October 2017. This marked the beginning of a great week of learning and site visits.  Local Action Group (LAG) representatives from Croatia, Slovenia, Romania, Poland, Portugal and of course from SECAD all participated in this blended learning experience.  The week in Midleton, Ireland represents the first block release of three training workshops overall in the course of this pilot accredited TELI2 training programme.

SECAD were proud to share a long history of supporting the community in Youghal to access LEADER funding down through the years.

Visits included the Youghal Clockgate, St Mary’s Collegiate Church & Gardens, Tulip Umbrellas, and Youghal Enterprise Centre with the Art Studios at the Raleigh Quarter Youghal. This concluded with a Continue reading

TELI2 group meets in Evora, Portugal 25th & 26th May

The TELI2 project partners held a very successful 2 day meeting in the beautiful Evora, Portugal on 25th and 26th May.  All partner countries were represented including Slovenia, Poland, Romania, Croatia, Ireland and Portugal.  The transnational group made strong progress on the course curriculum development for TELI2 as well as developing the learning portal and website.  Next step is that potential students will be proposed by the participating Local Action Groups for screening with a view to participating in this accredited learning programme which will be coordinated and awarded by Limerick Institute of Technology (LIT).  First set of training workshops will take place in Ireland, hosted by SECAD in Midleton County Cork on 9th to 13th October 2017.
